Boatyard Bash
Time: 9:00 am til 7:00 pm
Location: Florida Maritime Museum, 4415 119th St W Cortez
Description: This fun event will feature live music by Ted Stevens and the Doo Shots, the Wire Beaters, and the Rose Island Band. A number of home-built boats will be on site as well as demos, art and food vendors. Enjoy fun activities for the whole family, including a butterfly release to celebrate the new gardens. Learn about Sea Creatures from around the world in our featured exhibit, Maritime Mythologies: Creatures of the Deep. Then, don’t miss a classic “creature feature” on the big screen at 6pm. Guest are invited to bring blankets, chairs or golf carts to enjoy the movie and free popcorn.
