Heritage Monitoring Scout Training at Emerson Point

Location: Emerson Point Preserve, 5801 17th St W, Palmetto
Description: Join Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN) staff and Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources staff for this information session to learn how to become a heritage monitoring scout. We will talk about threats to archaeological sites, how to identify some common site types and artifacts, and the best way to record and monitor them. This event is free and open to the public.
