Description: Time Sifters Archaeology Society Lecture Series - Archaeology Year in Review by Smitty Smith
This month we will highlight some of the discoveries and events from 2017. It will include the discovery of a colossal statute in a Cairo slum; a prehistoric “Masterpiece” found in Greece; an Inca Citadel in Peru; the No. 3 Horse and Chariot pit in China; the USS Indianapolis and a 1932 MG J2 Roadster. We also highlight seven of the 18 new World Heritage Sites.
