Do you love history, music, and good family fun? Then this is the event for you!
In January each year, the members of the Florida Frontiersman host the largest living history event in the Southeast. There will be vendors for food, primitive lifestyles, and souvenirs. Come and see fine demonstrations of historic skills and portrayals of life before 1840.
Enjoy a full program of music, featuring both locally and nationally recognized performers. There will also be specialized tradesman, and general characters from our nation's history. This annual event for the Florida Frontiersman provides many scholarships to local high school students as well as intensive learning opportunities during the event.

Description: Time Sifters Archaeological Society Speaker Program - The Archaeology Year in Review - Darwin "Smitty" Smith
This month Time Sifters will highlight some of the discoveries and events from 2015. It will include the expansion of the Human family tree with the discovery in a South African cave of a new hominid; the results of a two year study of the Hidden Landscapes around Stonehenge; the destruction of ancient sites in the Middle East by terrorists; the 23 new World Heritage sites; discovery of a 5,000 year-old Underground City in Turkey; and more.
