Lecture - Ranger Ben Sims from the De Soto National Memorial

Time: 12:00 pm til 1:00 pm

Location: Renaissance on 9th 1816 9th Street West Bradenton, FL 34205

Description: In honor of the “Viva Florida 500, 1513-2013” Celebration, we have as our speaker Ranger Ben Sims from the De Soto National Memorial, where it all began around here. He has been with the Park for four years and works as one of the primary youth coordinators for the park. Born in England, he came to America at age 18. He has been in this area for 10 years, living in Bradenton’s Village of the Arts for eight of those years. He will be bringing a slide show for us.

The luncheon begins at noon at Renaissance on 9th. Cost of the luncheon is $15.

Membership in the Society is still only $10 per year for Annual Membership, but the cost will rise to $15 for the next program year.

You do not have to be a member to come to the luncheon, just remember to make reservations early.

Remember — Always call EARLY for luncheon reservations, by the Friday before the luncheon so that Renaissance can be prepared.
