Talk "Civil War, Cherokees and the Confederacy"

Description: Throughout the Civil War Indian Nations fought on the side of the Confederacy. Guest speaker, Scott Peeler Jr. will focus on the Cherokee Nation and their contributions. Scott is the current Cherokees of Central Florida Genealogy Committee Chairman and active member in the Georgia and Tennessee Chapters of the Trail of Tears Association. 2 to 4 p.m. Free, advanced registration requested.
