FPAN staff trained fifteen students in Dr. Wenzels archaeol-ogy class, conducting archaeo-logical site and historic building assessments. The goal of the pro-gram was not only to train more Scouts in the central Panhandle, but also to help Panama City bet-ter understand the impact of the storm on its historical resources.Assisting the Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area Staff from the Tosohatchee Wild-life Management Area (WMA) contacted the East Central Region for help in locating and recording archaeological sites for ongoing monitoring. The partnership re-sulted in a new site addition to the Florida Master Site File and further protection of archaeological sites in the area. 19'
