Description: Tony Andrews, who grew up in Yucatán, will summarize a lifetime of exploring, mapping, and excavating ancient Maya and historic sites along the coasts of the Mexican Yucatán peninsula. This will include a brief summary of his work on a 16th century Spanish church in northern Quintana Roo, and his recent excavation of a 19th century African village in northwestern Yucatán.rnrnLight refreshments will be served.
