Description: Wondering what to do on a summer mid-week evening? Join St. Petersburg Preservation (SPP) for a leisurely and fun downtown stroll, starting in front of the Detroit Hotel building - where the city got its start in 1888! Participants will learn a bit about St. Pete history while getting to see some of the best of downtown's historic buildings and architecture. The tour will be led by Will Michaels, a local historian and author who regularly writes about the city's history in the Old Northeast Journal.
Tour is free for SPP members, just $10 for nonmembers. Reservations encouraged but not required. See link to register or for more information
