Sangria and Stories: Mapping the Florida-Cuba Connection

Time: 6:00 pm til 7:00 pm

Description: Join Rodney Kite-Powell, History Center Curator and Director of the Touchton Map Library/Florida Center for Cartographic Education, for a look at the new exhibit "Gateways to the Caribbean: Mapping the Florida-Cuba Connection."

Kite-Powell will lead attendees through the exhibit during his in-gallery presentation, highlighting the more than 50 maps in "Gateways," dating back nearly 500 years.

Sangria and Stories includes a glass of Columbia Cafe sangria, free garage parking and an in-gallery presentation. Limited to just 30 attendees, Sangria and Stories is an intimate and in-depth look at topics related to Florida history. Pre-registration is required.
