Reflections of Manatee Ice Cream Social

Time: 12:00 pm til 2:00 pm

Location: 1302 4th Ave East, Bradenton

Description: Join Reflections of Manatee at their Ice Cream Social. Join us as we celebrate Manatee County’s newest historic district and future museum complex, located on 4th Ave between 14th and 12th Streets East and 1 block North of SR64 in today’s East Bradenton.

-Tour the inside of two 1860 era homes: That of Amanda (Andress) and Samuel George Curry, an enlisted man of the Army and Navy during the Civil War, and the Mary Amelia Curry home.
-View the renovation progress of the 1925 Theodosia (Curry) Lloyd craftsman bungalow.
-Visit with the local archaeologists, researchers, historians and descendants who helped in documenting the history of the Curry Settlement.
-Archaeological artifacts from the on-site research which took place will be on display.​
