Excavation at Phillippi Estate - Open to the Public!
Time: 9:00 am til 3:00 pm
Location: Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota
Description: Dr. Uzi Baram, New College Archaeological professor, County archaeologists Ryan Murphy and Steve Koski, Florida Public Archaeological Network staff, TimeSifters and USF graduate archaeological students will conduct a probe and possible excavation of Prodie Midden in the park from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. both days.
