Michael Francis - St. Augustine's 450th: History and Commemoration

Description: There are so many fascinating facts and compelling stories related to St. Augustine, they could fill a book. To find out more about America’s oldest city and its earliest residents, founded in 1565 by Spanish conquistador Pedro Menendez de Aviles, please join Dr. J. Michael Francis, a leading expert and author on Spanish Colonial Florida.

Dr. Francis received a PhD in History from the University of Cambridge and is professor and Hough Family Chair of Florida Studies, USF. Space is limited; reservations are required.

Program includes a glass of Columbia Restaurant sangria, garage parking and gallery presentation.
