Description: Join us at the Safety Harbor Museum and Cultural Center where we will have the Florida Public Archaeology Network - West Central Region out to give a talk on Civil War Shipwrecks! The maritime battles of the Civil War employed a greater diversity of ships than any previous sustained naval action. This presentation illustrates this aspect and highlights a few examples of Civil War-related shipwrecks in the Tampa Bay area.
