Coffee Talk: Black Seminoles - Buffalo Soldiers

Time: 10:30 am til 11:30 am

Location: Safety Harbor Museum and Cultural Center, 329 South Bayshore Boulevard S. Safety Harbor,

Description: Founded in 1992, The” Buffalo Soldiers FL” are a historical, re-enactment, public service organization. The goal of the group is to tell the “true” story of the Black Men, who were the first to serve in the Regular U.S. Army, starting in 1866. We also strive to tell the story of all the Black Men and Women who struggle, fought and gave their lives to help make the United State the nation it is.

Another goal of the organization is to use history to teach our young children, thru discussion, living as the soldiers of that era lived and education, ways to make their lives better.
