The Great Caper: Calling all Buccaneers

Time: 10:00 am til 3:00 pm

Location: Tampa Bay History Center, 801 Old Water Street, Tampa

Description: Tampa’s pirate revelry continues during this self-guided urban scavenger hunt! Start the adventure in our museum galleries before plundering the downtown waterfront.

Encounter real pirates, explore the Tampa Riverwalk, and check out the historic tall ship Nao Victoria, while searching for clues and dares leading to hidden treasure. Climb aboard the TECO Streetcar while talking like a pirate and using navigational skills to uncover mysteries behind the real pirates of Florida’s waters.

FPAN will be on hand with underwater archaeology displays, shipwreck activities, and information on Florida's underwater shipwreck preserves!

Return to the History Center for pirate’s booty, fantastic raffle prizes, and a costume contest, if ye be bold enough. Arg!
