Rethinking La Florida; from Ponce De Leon to Jamestown

Five-hundred years after the arrival of Ponce De Leon and the beginning of Spanish influence in Florida, the popular “Happy Hour with the Historian” lecture series continues with celebrated historian and author Dr. J. Michael Francis.

“Happy Hour with the Historian” – an evening of wine, words and wisdom – is a lecture series presented by the St. Petersburg Museum of History. Doors open at 6pm for a happy hour meet & greet with Dr. Francis.
• Admission is $5 suggested donation. The event runs from 6pm-8pm and will feature a full cocktail bar, wine and beer.
