Manatee County Historical Society Annual Picnic and Lecture

Time: 11:00 am til 2:00 pm

Location: 6106 63rd St E, Bradenton, FL 34203

Description: We are headed out to Jiggs Landing on the beautiful Braden River this year.

Bring your fishing tackle and waders and have a go at the Braden River’s great fishing. Don’t forget binoculars for bird watching.

We also have Colleen Gray as our speaker on “The Rise and Fall and Rise again of Tampa Bay.”

As usual with our picnics, we need a count of how many box lunches to prepare, so don’t forget to call early for reservations.

You do not need to be a member to attend, but you must call for reservations.

We usually begin meeting around 11 AM for picnics, to have time to wander around and enjoy the site.

Our picnic box lunch cost is usually $10, with water provided.

If you wish another non-alcoholic beverage, feel free to bring it. Alcohol is not permitted on County property.

Remember — Always call EARLY for luncheon reservations, by the Friday before the luncheon.
