A half-dozen movie theaters and a half-dozen department stores besides Maas Brothers! And green benches. And thousands of people sitting on them! Join Jon & Will to take an imaginative tour and time trip discussing the making of downtown and whether the ‘burg was dead or alive during the period 1945-1963. Wilson will have photos from the era and copies of his new book, The Golden Era in St. Petersburg: Postwar Prosperity in the Sunshine City and Michaels will have copies of his new book, The Making of St. Petersburg. The tour will end at Wood Fired Pizza where you can purchase a refreshing drink and the authors will be available to sign books and answer questions.
