Historic Boat Tour on the Manatee River
Time: 10:00 am til 12:00 pm
Location: Pier 22, 1200 First Ave. West, Bradenton, FL
Description: Local historian Cathy Slusser will entertain audiences with stories about the settlements along the river and the people who built them. The cruise will be aboard the Island Pearl, and ex-US Navy Liberty Launch originally built in 1991 by Willard Marine in California for the USS Essex. The Island Pearl only seats 49, so purchase your tickets in advance! Ticket prices are $30 each, with a portion going to Manatee County Historical Resources, including Manatee Village Historical Park. Purchase your tickets by calling 941-780-8010
