Fall Family Fun Day

Time: 10:00 am til 2:00 pm

Location: Manatee Village Historical Park, 1404 Manatee Ave. E., Bradenton, FL

Description: Scare up some fall fun and create family memories as you build your own unique life-size scarecrow. Bring a lunch and stay to hear stories about what it was like to live in a cracker house on the porch of the 1912 Settlers Cracker Gothic house, spun by descendants of the original homesteaders, Roxie and Will Stephens.

Discover Culture and Nature with your Child

Time: 1:00 pm til 3:00 pm

Location: Weedon Island Preserve 1800 Weedon Drive NE St. Petersburg, FL 33702

Description: Discovering Culture and Nature with your Child: Stop by the Weedon Island open classroom anytime between 1 to 3 p.m. to participate in a variety of self-guided archaeological activities. This week "sifting through the past" teaches how early people made their living from our Bay and waterways. No registration required. Recommended for families with children of all ages. Weedon Island Preserve.
