Native American Medicinal Plants by Dr. Michele Williams

Description: Medicinal plants have a long history of use and are still the most commonly used medicine in the world today. Comernlearn about medicinal plants used by Native Americans; these plants can be an interesting, and beautiful, addition to yourrnlandscaping plan.

Description: Pathos and Plants: Medicinal Plants and Pathologies among the Windover Population: The Windover site is a 6000-year-old mortuary pond located near the east coast of Florida. This talk examines medicinal plant usage among the Native American people at Windover. By correlating the medicinal plants identified among the Windover burials and the pathologies identified on their remains, we can infer medicinal plant usage among this population during Florida’s distant past.
