USF Botanical Gardens Fall Plant Sale

Description: Still the area's largest fall plant sale! There will be a wide assortment of plants available such as crotons, aroids, gingers, orchids, begonias,bamboo, bonsai, fruit trees, cactus, palms, native
plants, plumeria, African violets, romeliads, herbs, succulents, and carnivorous plants.
Music & Prize Drawings Saturday 11-3
Admission is $5, free for children under 12 and USF Botanical Garden members.

Shadow and Reflection Exhibition Opening
Time: 5:00 pm til 7:00 pm
Location: Morean Arts Center, 719 Central Ave., St. Petersburg
Description: Join us as we launch this fascinating exhibition of photography by photographic artist Suzanne Williamson and writer John Capouya. Shadow and Reflection is inspired by their exploration of Florida’s Native American mound sites utilizing an array of photo-reproduction processes, antique cameras and pin-hole cameras. They re-envision the past with words and images illuminating the many meanings behind the creation of these ancient monuments.
