Description: Join us to learn about the coastal environment and the early residents of Weedon Island Preserve. We will be hiking through coastal mangrove and upland ecosystems of the Preserve so be sure to bring water and a snack. A hat and closed-toe shoes are also recommended.

Description: Experience De Soto National Memorial in a unique way, from the water. Explore the parks waterways and learn how water was the lifeways for Florida Indians, Spanish explorers, and Florida's settlers and pioneers. Discover ways how we can protect Florida's most precious resource. All equipment and kayaks are provided. each tour only accommodates ten people. Description: The conference theme, “From River to Sea” comes to life in Jacksonville, Florida as conference participants will have the chance to explore the northbound flowing river, its shores and the local Atlantic Beaches.
FPAN will be in the exhibitor hall all day and giving a presentation for educators.

Description: Journey back into Florida's past when the saber cat, giant sloth, mammoth, giant tortoise and bison roamed the sunshine state. With a Sensing Nature® biologist, investigate animal fossils millions of years old and float back in time when mega-fauna ruled our coastal habitats. Afterwards, test your tortoise spurs with a fun, hands-on activity.
