Come and join us as we explore the exciting, and sometimes unbelievable, history of Weedon Island Preserve. For the past 2000 years, there has never been a dull moment in this corner of Pinellas County.

Explore DeSoto's Waterways with a Ranger Led Kayak Tour

Description: Experience De Soto National Memorial in a unique way, from the water. Explore the parks waterways and learn how water was the lifeways for Florida Indians, Spanish explorers, and Florida's settlers and pioneers. Discover ways how we can protect Florida's most precious resource. All equipment and kayaks are provided. each tour only accommodates ten people.
