7th Annual Pioneer Day & Rib Cook-Off
Time: 9:00 am til 4:00 pm
Location: DeSoto Park on Highway 70, just west of Peace River Bridge, Arcadia
Description: Come out and learn about what life was like during the pioneer days of Florida. Ten teams will compete for prizes in the barbecued rib cook-off.

Time: 10:00 am til 3:00 pm
Location: DeSoto National Memorial Park, Bradenton
Description: Every March DeSoto Memorial brings together re-enactor groups from all over Florida for a timeline spanning 500 years.
