Archaeology Paddle - November

Description: Come learn about the archaeology of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area from a aqua perspective with Florida Public Archaeology Network - Southeast Region!
This FREE guided paddle launching from the lighthouse shore encompasses archaeological, environmental, and historical knowledge of the ONA. The paddle will be at a casual pace with multiple stops on the way. We will be on the water for around 2 hours so bring sunscreen and water!
Bring your own Kayak or paddle board, if not you can rent them at Blueline Surfand PaddleCo. (561-744-7474) down the road, or paddle over from Jupiter Outdoor Center (561-747-0063).
Meet in the North parking lot of the ONA (located on the left just before going over the bridge to Jupiter Island) at 9:00am, and one of the ONA staff will let you through the Gate and you can drive in and unload kayaks on the shore.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE LIGHTHOUSE MUSEUM PARKING LOT, it is just a little further east on S. Beach Rd. We will be meeting at 9:00 am in the parking lot and beginning the paddle at 9:15 am, giving us time to unload.
