2nd Annual Resiliency Workshop/HMS Training with MDPL

Description: The Center for Resiliency and Sustainability at the Miami Design Preservation League is hosting its 2nd Annual Resiliency Workshop. With an emphasis on solution based ideas for historic preservation and resiliency, presentations will incorporate multidisciplinary viewpoints with the intent to provide property owners of historic resources with short, medium, and long-term solutions.
On Sunday, April 8th, 2018, site assessments will take place in the historic Flamingo Park neighborhood. Heritage Monitoring Scouts (HMS) Florida is a citizen science initiative to engage the public in documenting historical and archaeological sites that will be impacted by sea level rise and climate change.
