Presented By: Broward County Archaeologist Matt DeFelice
Mr DeFelice will present a lecture about the history of archaeology in Broward County with particular focus on significant archaeological sites, early archaeologists working in the area , and the role of the Broward County Archaeological Society. He will also remark upon the development of Broward County Historical Commission, the duties of the County Archaeologist, the impact of modern preservation legislation and current topics in Broward County Archaeology.
