ASSF lecture: Living Cultural Heritage in Korea

Time: 7:00 pm til 8:00 pm

Location: Deering Estate Auditorium, 16701 S.W. 72nd Ave.

Description: Over the past seven years Dr. Annette Fromm has had the opportunity to travel to many locations in South Korea. She had the opportunity for the traveling as President of the International Committee for Museums of Ethnography. For the past four years she has served on the committee for the International Journal of Intangible Heritage. Meeting yearly for a week in February, the committee members are taken to locations in South Korea to see a variety of museums and living cultural heritage. Dr. Fromm’s lecture will cover displays and exhibits from her travels through a Power Point presentation.
