Heritage Monitor Scouts Workshop

Description: On March 9th from 9am to 12pm the Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN) will be partnering with the Florida Park Service and Jefferson County Historical Association to offer a Heritage Monitoring Scouts workshop. The classroom portion of the workshop will take place at the Wirick Simmons House (230 N Jefferson St, Monticello, FL 32344) and the practical portion will be held at Letchworth-Love Mounds Archaeological State Park. This workshop is free and open to anybody with an interest in archaeology, but advanced registration is required. To register individuals need to contact Barbara Clark, FPAN Regional Director, at BarbaraAClark@uwf.edu. This workshop is free and open to adults and children with parent or guardian present.
