Description: Emma Dietrich of FPAN will be giving a lecture on cemeteries as archeological resources “Historic Cemeteries as Outdoor Museums
Why are cemeteries are an integral part of learning about past communities? Join us and learn about how archaeologists and historians study historic cemeteries. We will discuss iconography, views of death, changes through time, and how to preserve and record these resources.”
