Chasing Her ‘Husband’ Through the Center of Florida

Description: Please join us for a special presentation by Deborah L. Bauer about marriages on the Florida Frontier, featuring the true story of “Mrs. St. John,” who journeyed through 1760s colonial Florida to hunt down the soldier who led her on, and knocked her up! Learn about how marriages in the REAL good ole days weren't so different from what they are today!

The Historical Society Quarterly Meeting begins at 6:30pm. The presentation begins at approximately 7pm. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public!
