Archaeology Works: Historical Cemeteries

Description: Archaeology Works: Historical Cemeteries
FPAN will be sharing about Florida's historic cemeteries and how best to work to record them. Historical cemeteries are one of Florida's most threatened cultural resources and are in dire need of protection. Participants will learn about why archaeologists investigate historic cemeteries as well as the laws surrounding them. Participants will also get opportunities to learn how to document these sites and best practices for preservation.
