Description: In the summer of 2011, Gregg traveled to the Dry Tortugas to help document and photograph historical graffiti within the small magazine room at Fort Jefferson, a Civil War fort located 70 miles from Key West on the small cluster of islands known as the Dry Tortugas. We’ll explore these symbolic artworks and discuss the role they and the people who created them have played in the fort’s history.
