The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society's ever-popular FREE lecture series will continue on January 13, 2014 with guest lecturer Dr. Andrew Frank.
A professor at FSU, Dr. Frank is an ethnohistorian who focuses on the Florida Seminoles and the other southeastern Indians of the United States. He is currently finishing a book-length manuscript on the history of the Florida Seminoles tentatively entitled Those Who Camp at a Distance: The Seminoles and Indians of Florida.
