Tour de Fort @ Fort Pickens

Description: Join FPAN and National Park Service staff as we peddle, hike, and climb our way through the archaeology of Gulf Islands National Seashore Fort Pickens Area!
Participants will meet at the Fort Pickens Discovery Center for a brief presentation before we head out on the guided tour. Total bike ride is approximately four miles in length at lasts about two hours. The tour will visit archaeological sites along the trail ride where we will learn about the archaeology, history, and ecology of the area. Bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, your bicycle, and helmet. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. The program is free, but participants are responsible for park entrance fee. Space is limited. RSVP by calling 850-595-0050 ext. 105.
