Description: Ancient Medicine in Florida: Examining the Evidence for Medicine at the 7,000-year-old site of Windover – Evidence for medicine within the archaeological record comes in many forms. We’ll examine the evidence for medicine among the people of Windover, a 7,000-year-old pond cemetery that produced the well-preserved skeletons and artifacts, both of which provide hints as to how they survived in ancient Florida.
