"'Hydroarchaeology' of Florida"

Florida has one of the largest and most productive aquifer systems in the world.  The abundance of water in Florida has attracted humans for over 14,000 years.  Many of the earliest prehistoric archaeological sites are located adjacent to and in Florida’s springs and spring-fed rivers.  This talk will focus on Florida’s water resources from both a historic and prehistoric perspective.
