Diversity at Sea: Shipwrecks of the Civil War in Florida

Time: 7:00 pm til 8:00 pm

Location: Florida Historical Society Library, Cocoa Village

Description: The maritime battles of the Civil War employed more diversity of ships than any previous sustained naval action. Civil War shipwrecks along Florida’s coasts illustrate this aspect and highlight a concerted and entrenched effort to control paths of trade and communication in the South.

FPAN is hosting this event.
