Digging in the Bowl Hole

Description: In 2004, Dr. Wentz traveled to northern England to participate in the excavations being conducted at Bamburgh Castle, a medieval castle located on the shores of the North Sea. The “Bowl Hole” is the large cemetery located on the grounds of the castle where many of the castle residents were interred. Come learn about this fascinating site and the information that has been gleaned from the examination of these ancient skeletons.
